Remington model 11 slamfired

Has anybody had a Remingtion model 11 or browning auto-5 slamfire when the bolt was released. I was shooting trap, put the shell in and pushed the release with my thumb so my fingers were away from the trigger, so there was no way I hit the trigger. The firearm was with the ejection port facing up and the barrel pointing downrange when the release was pushed. I was using estate brand shells. Any help would be appreciated.
The gun was made in 1923 and was broken down and cleaned (yes all 52 screws) recently and nothing looked out of the ordinary. I did not take the bolt apart though.

It could be dirt or dry grease or oil in the bolt, making the firing pin stick out...

They have a firing pin retraction spring, correct? I think they do...

Could have also been nothing to do with the gun itself and could have just been a problematic primer.

Keep your muzzle pointed in a safe direction when you're loading it, and if it does it again, that's when it's time to head to the gunsmith.
