George the barrels of the 11-48 and the 48 Sportsman will interchange. I have been told that the 48 Mohawk was made up from parts left over when closing out the 11-48 and the Sportsman 48. I am trying to comferm that. I am looking for extra V.R. barrels for my 11-48 16 ga. I recently bought a 48 Sportsman and the barrels are identical.
