remington mod 11 /auto 5

I have a older remington mod 11 with add on choke, twist left or right
for full, mod, imp. can you use browning a-5 barrel with invector choke,
or do you have to get normal barrel. thanks, Thomas.

A5 barrels will not work for the Model 11. That is, unless you want to change out the carrier on the Remington (costly). My suggestion would be either live with the polychoke or have a barrel threaded for choke tubes. If that is the way you go, I would have it threaded for Remchoke to make it easy to buy the choke you want. That's the way I am going to go when I restore my Grandfather's 11 that was handed down to me.
