Remington Fieldmaster 121 Question

Hi I am new to the board and have a question. i bought a Remington Fieldmaster 22 pump at an auction. it is in wonderful condition and looks just like the picture below. When I first took it apart with the breakdown screw....the screw would not come all the way out (was designed that way).....now it does. Does anyone know what part I may have lost that kept it where it was supposed to be when the gun is broken down? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Here is a diagram of the parts. The screw is part 6 and it goes into part 5 and 13 in the receiver.
Thanks
Mike

Part #7. It is the cross-pin that holds the screw into the receiver. You probably did not lose it, it is probably just worn.

Thank you

I found a pin after cleaning the gun....hope I still have it....thought it came from a watch.
Again Thank you for replying

If you lost the pin, no big deal. You can easily make a suitable pin out of just about anything that fits the hole fairly tightly, even a roll pin.

Remington 121 lost take down retainer

Gyvel, Scorch
Please excuse my ignorance.....here is close up of the take down Screw. As you know from the diagram it screws through the receiver all the way to the other side. As you know when you loosen it to break down the gun it does not come all the way out (mine does now) but is retained by part number 7 called the take down screw retainer. It also appears that the screw head when screwed down seems to not want to go all the way in.
Here is my questions/
1.) Where does the cross bin look like and where does it go? There is no hole in the screw itself...and for the life of me I can't see how the screw would be retained.
2.) I am having a hard time finding the retainer for the 121 Remington.....do you know if the model 12 retainer would work on the model 121?
Thank you for any help....I went thru the trash and vacuum bag and at my wits end.
Mike

OK, Mikester. I got a chance to look at a 121 today. There is no pin holding the crossbolt in, the crossbolt threads through the bushing and is held in by the flats on the screw and shoulders on the threads/ If it is coming out, you may be unscrewing it from the bushing, which is too far.
