Remington CFC trigger mechanism?

Riflemen:

Lots of bad press going about Remington's CFC trigger mechanism and accidental discharge with the safety on.

To me it looks like there is enough unbiased evidence to say Remington has a problem they won't acknowledge. I mean if it were anti-gun people making claims we be suspicious but most of the problems are reported by and pursued by pro-gun people.

But I know there will be many who disagree.

What think you?

For the record I own a Remington 1187 and have never had a problem.

I consider myself pretty knowledgeable, but dont know what a "CFC trigger mechanism" is.

Are you talking about the hoopla over Remingtons 700-7-721-722 triggers that have been discussed ad nauseum for the past couple years ?

Discharge when the safety is on ? That is a new one by me as well, of course anything is possible with worn or broken mechanical devices.
