Remington Autoloader

I need some suggestions for improving accuracy of a Remington 30-06 autoloading rifle. I know they were not intended to be target rifles, but this one is a 4 MOA shooter at best and I suspect that can be improved upon. Other that fit and function, and muzzle crown, how can these be accurized?
Thanks

It depends upon what Remington .30-06 autoloader you have.

If it's a 740, a forend insulating/accuracy block can be either located or made & installed at the forward end.

If it's a 742, I've never gotten one to improve, myself.

If it's a 7400/Four, I'd consider speaking with Remington's Service Dept - since every one I've ever owned or shot has been fairly decent, accuracy-wise.

I'v never laid my mitts on a 750, but AFAIK it's a fancy 7400.

Check to see if your's has a barrel nut. Many of the autoloaders do. A loose nut will cause bad accuracy.
