Here's the scoop. I've owned 870's, lots of them. I shot trap with my Wingmaster for years, hunted with my Express and bought my wife a junior sized Express. That was in NJ...moved to Florida a few years ago and sold my guns before moving. Was afriad of getting busted for transporting across state lines. (Living in NJ instills that kind of paranoia in a person).
Anyway...aquired a used Savage 69 a year ago. Couldn't find an 870 locally at the right price so settled for the Savage. Recently found an 870 and it just felt right and am considering dumping the Savage and going back to a gun I know and enjoy. The question is: I know nothing about the Savage 69. I don't want to unload it for cheap to find out later is was a better gun or more valuable gun than the 870. If they're fairly equal, the Savage is outa here in a heartbeat.
