remington 870 safety switch

I bought a new 870 with the funny trigger lock on the safety switch, does anyone know where I can get a left handed safety switch? and is there a problem if it doesn't have one of those funny locks on it?
 
I just had mine apart. Had I read your post earlier I would have checked. I think you can simply reverse the safety. Give it a shot, it'll take five minutes.

Unfortunately it is not as easy as reversing the button. You need a left-hand trigger plate from Remington (or Brownells). When you have one, you move everything from the existing trigger to the new one. There is someone who makes a left handed safety button that installs in a right hand trigger group. I don't recall who that manufacturer is.
