Does anyone know if Remington 870 Police Magnum barrels are or were chrome lined? I've got one here that appears to be chromed -- it has a very slight but noticeable "bloom" around the muzzle and the breech.
As a follow-up question, do you chrome the bore then phosphate the rest? Since the bore is chromed, do you need to worry about plugging the bore when you Parkerize/phosphate the barrel? (Pure curiosity here.)
