I can get one NIB for $299 plust ship + FFL. Comes with extended 7 shell tube magazine.

Is this a good price?


All black parkerized - they are so cool looking.
 
LTS, that's a good price here. We have a cop shop that sells them for over 300 if that helps.

Is there a difference between Magnum and non-magnum?


Could someone tell me about chokes? What is it? How does size affect performance - 3" or 2-3/4" etc

Looks just like my express to me? You sure thats a Police?

All the police guns I have seen have a short forearm, and dont have the keyed safety.

The magnum accepts 2 3/4 and 3" shells, while the non-magnum only takes 2 3/4"

$299 is the standard price I have seen locally for that shotgun if its an express. If it says police on the receiver and not express you got a heck of a deal.

I dont think that gun will accept chokes, it should say "cyl bore" somewhere on the barrel near the rear

I bought one for $280 in '87 or '88(I forget which,:( )that I owned for several years..Yes,they are BAD looking..

To cut to the chase, I ended up selling it to a friend for $250. He then turned around and sold it to his older brother for $300 about two weeks later.

I'll never do that again. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
 
I'm not sure that's a Police model, maybe the owner meant it's a police style 870. Good price in either case, very good shotgun.

The keyed safety is a #$%^&*( abombination, but easily fixed.

TTBOMK, all new 12 gauge 870s are 3" mag compatible, except for the Classic Trap.
