Remington 740 Question

I have a question on the Remington 740 I have. It shoots well (accurate at 100 yrds (1.5_2" groups), it ejects all my fodder very well, but every primer, on every cartridge tends to back out(not all the way! At least not yet!). This includes Remington factory "core_Lokted", and handloads (from minimum powder charge up!). Can Anybody tell me what is going on? Is the chamber over_sized (measured brass after firing and it seems fine), too much crimp? (The same cartridges in a bolt action do not have this problem). Or is this something I can expect from this rifle?

I'm going to post this question on a couple of the other boards as well in hopes to finding out what is going on. Thx, Wolfz

I'd get the headspace checked by a gunsmith, right off. If this problem *still* persists, there is some sort of "real" problem that I can't help with...

I'll move the question to the Smithy...George knows more than I about this sort of thing.

Regards,

Art
