OOOHHH Yeahhhhh
Factory Scope - Mine would not hold zero and the crosshairs were so thin, they disappeared frequently in bright sunlight.
Trigger - Good. The best aspect of the weapon
Barrel - By design, it's in there for good. Being hydraulicaly pressed in, there's no chance of retrofitting with another barrel
Accuracy - Terrible with the original, factory-supplied Optics. I put a Bushnell Banner Dusk and Dawn 4X32 on and I am making one ragged hole at 25 yards.
Bolt - Well, you get what you pay for. To begin with, it's flimsy. After that, it's rough as a cob. It does smooth out with age------------slightly.
Detachable Mag - Doesn't rattle---------yet. It will jam up if your not careful but I think this may be a function of the horrible bolt travel.
Fit - Weird. I am amazed I get the accuracy I do.
Finnish - Stock feels good and the matte finish is more rust resitant than the 700 ADL Synthetic
If money is an issue, get a New England Firearms Handi Rifle, Marlin 336W, Savage 110 Package or the Winchester Model 70 Black Shadow package. If I had it to do over again, I would not have wasted my money on this weapon.
The more I think about it, the way Remington represented this piece of junk on their website deceived me. I may never buy another Remington product again.
