Remington 710?

I haven't shot one yet, but the local Academy Sports place has them for $320. When they come out in .223 or 22-250, I'll check into them.
 
i have not shot one but I have held one and they are junk in my mind. Painted slide, ruber stock, very poor bolt action, but that is just mu opinion. You can get a savage bolt action for about the same price with out scope, but the scope isn't that good any way. Once you look at it you will see.
 
I read about these rifles in Shooting Times a couple of weeks ago. I thought they sounded like a good rifle until I read that they have a press fit barrel. This turned me off.
If I ever get around to buying a .308 bolt rifle it will be a Savage. My.02
