If it were me, and your rifle is drilled and tapped for one, I'd put a good reciever sight on the gun, remove the rear sight, and use little filler screws to cover up the hole left by the original sight. If your rifle is not already drilled and tapped, it won't cost you a young fortune to have it done. I have a set up like that on a Winchester mod. 70 Featherweight, and I like it fine.
