What is the factory trigger pull on these?

I was told all factory 700's are 7lbs.
But I read the SPS tactical is a 3 1/2 lbs somewhere.

I cant seem to find the article and have been googling all morning and
cant find anything on it or just not putting the right words in to get
a match.

Does anyone know if they are in fact 3 1/2 or 7lbs like all others?

Not sure on the SPS, my 700MLR 338Lap breaks at a wisker over 3 pounds. If your rifle has the X Mark Pro trigger it will be around the same.

i have the SPS-V which is identical to the tactical except for the stock and a longer barrel. The trigger is adjustable in pull by simply tightening and loosening a set screw on the trigger. I'm not sure exactly what it comes from the factory at but it is adjustable. I don't have a trigger pull gauge either but it feels pretty light, definitely no where near 7 LB.

Yea I was told all SPS's come with factory 7lbs HEAVY pull and should be adjusted ASAP. But i was told the SPS tac. and 700P have decent trigger pull and was around 3 1/2 - 4 lbs. I just wanted to see if that was true or not.

Mine came at about 2.5 pounds and I haven't touched it. My only complaint is that the set screw in the top of the trigger sticks out enough that I feel it when shooting. I've been thinking of filing the excess off, but that is probably not the best solution.
