WEll I goofed up, took the trigger out of my 700 and I guess it is the sear spring jumped out and left the country. Can someone give me the info or part number from Brownell, Midway or somewhere I can order one? I have some Remington spring of varied length, is there a length, diameter etc to go buy or just order one?

$6 + shipping, an expensive lesson. :)

If you make up some slave pins, you can assemble the trigger while it is out of the receiver. Makes re-installing the trigger much simpler.
You just need to pick up a couple extra solid pins and then shorten them to a dimension just under the width of the trigger housing, if I remember right....they are 1/8" (.125) diameter.

Good luck

For what you are going to pay for shipping, You may want to order a couple.
Just so you have a spare, stuff like this happens to everyone sooner or later and having a spare on hand beats the hell out of having to wait for one ordered.

Well i finaly called Remington and the rifle is there being repaired. I finally surmized it had a short chamber. Will post about the repairs when I get it back. Not too happy about paying shipping one way.
