Remington 700 Loading Problems

Loading a Remington 700. When loading my 30.06 thru the top sometimes I get the rds too far back or too far forward causing jams. What am I doing wrong? How can I reload quickly and eliminate this problem?

Tom, this is a standard operarting procedure with Rem 700's........
Be sure to place the case all the way to the rear, and then seat the round.
The most common thing folks do is get em' too far forward.
Practice this, and you'll do much better.
