Remington 700 ADL - what should I pay?

I have a chance to buy a used 5 year old Remington ADL with a factory synthetic camo stock in 30-06. It does not have the ISS safety and has a Remington non Xmark trigger that has been tuned by a gunsmith to 3 lbs. I also noticed that it had a metal trigger guard.

It is in good shape and has been shot some but not too much. No scope or rings.

I know Remington has been running rebates lately which makes new guns more $$ attractive. So, we are trying to figure a fair price for this gun.
 
Untill Remington fixes the trigger and safety problem. It is worth $25.00 as scrap.

Mine has the original trigger set at 28oz:eek:, no problems at all.....cause its kept clean.:rolleyes:
 
After the $50 Remington rebate, I paid $419 for my ADL Varmint in 308 from Dick's last November. This rifle came with the X-Mark Pro trigger which came from the factory with a crisp 4lb pull.
 
The trigger & safety problem lies more with the Remington owner than the Remington rifle.

Put an aftermarket trigger on them and be done with it.

New Remingtons made since 2007 have a different trigger already.

Is NBC anti gun? Yes. Was the exploding pickup story faked? Yes. However, just because the news organizations are anti gun does not mean that EVERY story they present is necessarily untrue.
 
Actually the exploding pickup wasn't completely faked. In every test the fuel tank did actually burst and spill fuel on the truck and ground. They just wanted to see the fuel ignite and added an artificial spark to get flames on camera. In real life lots of others did ignite and burn people.
