remington 700 adl vs remington 770.

700 all the way. The 770 my shoot decent for what it is but every corner was cut in the making of that rifle!

thanks this is just a post for opinions as i have noticed more problems with the 770 than the 700. again these are my opinions done with research involved and not just because i have one or the other. research involving owning/shooting/whatever.

Yea i never heard of the 770 until today..

770 is like a cheaper model of the 700..

i say go with 700.. pretty much one of the best rifles you can
get out of the box for around $500-600

The 770 isnt worth what you save on getting the 700..
jut spend the extra $100/$200 on the 700.. youll appretiate it later on.

It is said that the 710 is "based on the 700" it is not a cheaper model of the 700. The 770 is simply a stainless barrel with nickel-plated action & bolt. I have an issue with a rifle whose receiver is not of solid steel.

The 710's and 770's have been plagued with problems. While some praise them most curse them.

You can pick up a used 700 for under $400 if you look around. Even if you want a new rifle save a little extra and get the 700 so you won’t have to worry about all the drawbacks of the 710 or 770 series rifles.

Amen!
