I have one and its a great rifle. Mine was brand spanking new when I got it. Every one I've seen has been in similar condition. The only thing I don't like about it is the trigger. It is a little stiff and you can't adjust it. The Mossberg 44 is also a nice rifle and easier on the checkbook. Stay away from the HR M12, too heavy for a youngster. Order one, you won't regret it.
