Remington 513-T

Hi Harley, at a recent auction I picked up a remington 513-T with Redfield iron sights and a Redfield scope base. This is some kind of quick change base I think. If I remember from my youth the scope could be attached or removed with a 1/4 counter clockwise twist of the scope. Can you tell me what model / power scopes would be period correct for this gun?

I also have a real nice 513T Matchmaster. I had a custom base made for it and put Redfield Olimpic sights on it and a Mo's front globe with clear inserts from Champions Choice. Then I installed a Gehmann adjustable iris to it.Model 510. You have to get the adapter for this at Champions Choice also.

The scope most of them had on them were Lyman Super Target Spots or Unertals,all long tube external adjustable scopes.

Now worth their weight in gold! VERY GOOD SCOPES !

Does anybody out there know how to adjust the stock triggers on the 513T's?

My trigger is OK but we have not figured this trigger out yet! The 2 screw adjustments just don't seem to do much at all.
