Remington 40x in a .338 lapua can it be done

I wouldn't - I'd want more barrel around that chamber...

Check with Jerry Stiller of viper actions - they were showing off a big ol' honker at either the NBRSA Nationals or the Supershoot... It'll cost you, but it'll handle whatever you throw at it... Not quite big enough for the .50 tho...
