remington 30-06 magazines

Does anyone have a leed on Remington 760 30-06 magazines. looking for 1 good one not aftermarket. my mag keeps falling out any suggestions on fixing it. Thanks in advance

Make sure the problem is the magazine and not with the rifle.

"...mag keeps falling out..." Like Jim says, that may or may not be the mag. I'd be surprised if it was, myself. You may want to try one of those mag latches on Midway's site first. Best to buy a new spring at the same time.

This site may be of some interest. According to Leroy, the rear latch of the magazine can be peened or filed down. Paging down about five times will get you to the paragraph on magazines. He makes no mention of modifying the rifle.
