Remington 1911 rebates?

Got an email ad from an online dealer today offering the R1 1911 pistols at a low price, and said it was even lower with a $100 cash rebate.
Checked the Remington website and just found rebates for ammo, but nothing on the R1 1911.

Anyone else know what's up?
 
I'd email Grab A Gun (assuming you got the same email as me) and ask them. $399 is a crazy cheap prices for that Remington.

I didn't bother to check Remingtons website when I got the email but now that you mention it there is nothing there to suggest they are offering a rebate. However it is possible their website is not up to date and the promo is valid.
 
Yep, I bought an R1 1911 from them two or three years ago for $529 plus a $75 cash rebate and thought that was a great deal then.
 
Ordered it from GrabaGun at noon on Monday, it was delivered to my FFL in Austin late Tuesday, They called this morning to notify me it was ready for pickup. This Alabama made 1911 has excellent fit & finish just like the Ilion made R1 from 2014. Darn nice 1911 for $399 after rebate.
