I got several boxes of old shot shell ammo. Remington 12guage "kleenbore" new "crimp". I assumed they were plastic until I decided to take the shot size sticker off the end of a cartridge and unfold the crimp. Paper. Cool. Any idea when remington came out with their new "crimp" style paper shells. It is advertised all over the box "new crimp!" and "kleenbore". One box of 4 and one of 6 shot. I would love some info on the age or basicly what decade these are from. Are they worth anything? When did shell manufactures stop using paper? I only remember plastic cartidges from my youth in the 70's and 80's. Hey thanks! :)

Can you post a pic? Federal still makes paper shells. None of the rest of the USA makers have papers available. The Federal papers are very popular among the Clay target shooters.
