Very first gun I've bought with my own money, plus first gun I shot a deer with. I have several other shotguns but this one just hold a special place in my heart. I didn't take real good care of it as I bought it when I was young. Now that I'm older I want to get this gun back to good shape so I can pass it on later in life. I'm sending it off after this season to get the entire gun dipped in camo.

It's probably the cheapest shotgun I have but the one I always take out in shotgun season.
I want to add some night sights but after looking at my rifle I'm not sure how I would remove the front sights.

The front sight is driven out of the base with a nylon or brass drift and a small hammer.

The sight is driven out from LEFT to RIGHT, as you'd sight down the barrel.
Make sure to get the base well braced on a hard wood block to support it while tapping the sight out.
You may find it easier if you cut a notch in the block to allow the sight to clear.
Put the drift on the dovetail part of the sight to tap it out.

Install the new sight by tapping it in from RIGHT to LEFT.

Some gun shops may have a special sight pusher device to push the sight out and the new one in.
