Rem1100 identifying the choke?

I recently bought a 1979 Rem 1100, 2 3/4, with a 28 inch barrel and what the guy told be was a "Remington Choke" fixed choke. Is this modified, improved modified or what? Any way to measure the muzzle to be sure? Thank you.

"Rem Chokes" are are screw-ins. Remington 1100s with fixed chokes have the constriction marked on the left side of the barrel forward of the receiver. Rem Chokes are individually labeled.

DO NOT shoot steel shot through this barrel. If you are Water Fowl hunting or in pursuit of other migratory birds where non-toxic shot is a mandate, choose Bismuth or Hevi-Shot Classic Doubles. Not only does it protect the barrel but it also makes the 2-3/4" 12 gauge shotgun shell viable for duck and geese giving it an almost identical performance to the old lead #6 shot.

2-3/4" Bismuth or Classic Doubles, out performs 3.5" steel at decoy ranges imho. I have killed two ducks with one shot using 2-3/4" 12 gauge polymer matrix type shot like Bismuth or Classic.
