REM SPS Varmit 308 kudos.

I p/u new at carters country for 599$ today and p/u a box of 308 150gr corelokts and federal 180gr at Walmart.Not much if any differences on accuracy on these 2 loads.Topped off with my new VX6 3x18x50 CDS.This rifle really amazed me.I in no way consider my self a marksman and have never shot this good until today.2" groups n 3 bulls eyes.Im gonna try and post a pic but this is a great out the box rifle.At 100 yards.

I also don't consider myself a master marksman, but enjoy seeing those sub-MOA groups.

How many rounds have you put through the rifle?
A lot of factory rifles need anywhere from 50-200 rounds through them before they "settle down" and start shooting their best.

Practice those fundamentals, and I'm sure you will be posting targets with sub-MOA groups soon

That was 16 rounds 8 at 50yrds for adjurments than I set up at 100 yards and first shot was the best bullseye fallowed by a nice 2" group which included 2 more bullseyes.Just a happy day at the range with my new set up.
