Rem. LTR in .308 w/o barrel flutes ?

Anyone know if they still make these things, or where you can find one ?

The fluted barrel is not of interest to me but I do like the 20 inch unfluted barrel.

That is what I thought. Maybe I'll pick up a 700 VS and have the barrel lopped back. Probably cheaper too.....hmmmmm.

Not really...around $50.00 is all............
I would get the fluted, and pay the extra $50.00......
It will definitely be worth it in the long run, as Rem has a bad habit of NOT making good selling rifles for long periods of time.
The LTR's, will probably NEVER depreciate in value, if Rem stops producing them.
Which, knowing how big a DA Corp they are....it WILL happen...trust me...:D
After a 2 to 3 year lay off on the VS models, and the ATTEMPTED force feeding of the Laminated blue jobs...didn't work, they have reluctantly started to produce some VS models again.........
