Rem 887 Nitro Mag

Did Remington fix this gun? The bad reviews I've seen are all dated two or three years ago. The price is right but I don't want to buy a problem.

I don't know, but I personally wouldn't buy one. The 870 in a very similar tactical setup isn't much more than the 887.

Every one I've looked at has been horrible--and yes it was several years ago.

I basically wrote it off and haven't wasted any more time thinking about it.

I'd put it in the never buy column
