Rem 870 sights

Hi.
I have a standard Remington 870 express, that id like to get standard sights for instead of just the bead.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
Also I have seen similar 870 with holes for mounting a picatiny rail, would it be wise or possible to get a gun smith to mount a picatiny rail on my normal receiver?

Is this a trick question -- a simple bead is THE standard shotgun sight. :)
Do you want an mid-rib bead, too?
Perhaps rifle-type slug shooting sights?
Maybe a holo, ghost-ring or laser designator?

The only advantage I see to a rail is if your are going to be changing sights/accessories often, or if you are an arsenal outfitting guns without knowing their future missions. The rail is a "one size fits all solution" -- I prefer a more tailored look. YMMV
 
Maybe a barrle with rifle type sights? they do make these for the 870. A nice slug barrel is what you may wish to look at.
 
Haha sorry for the confusion, yeah i know its the normal, I meant like ghost ring or something similar.
I think I saw some where front and rear sights you can attached to the a ribbed barrel and the bead
 
Try Williams Sights, they've got lots of options, like fiber optic bead and mid-barrel bead. They also have ghost ring sights that clamp on. XS sights also has ghost ring sites.

You can buy a rifle sighted, 20" rem choke bbl for the 870, for around $175.00, maybe less.

Till you fool around w/ buying the sights, finding and paying someone to attach them, it might be well worth it.
