Rem. 7400 or 7600

Well Im thinking of getting an all around rifle and these are the 2 that Ive decided on. what are the pros and cons of these two.
I heard that the 7600 is very accurate and I would like the recoil reduction of the 7400. does anybody have one?

I've heard on the 7400, that if you didn't keep the chamber real clean then you would have extraction problems. I not heard anything bad about the 7600. I've been thinking about a 7600 in a .308 myself. FWIW
