Rem 700 warranty when bought new w/ no warranty card?

I just bought a 30.06 Rem 700 - I suspect it's been on the shelf for a VERY long time (it was suggested, 2 years).

Point is, I have the receipt for it (it was ridiculously discounted) the box, the video.

There is no warranty card - I suspect that the box ORIGINALLY had one but I don't.

Would Rem still honor the warranty? I don't see anything wrong with the gun (haven't had chance to even clean/oil it) but it would be good to know.

Battler - Same thing happened to me. I copied my sales receipt and sent it to Remington with an explanation. I was quickly sent a warranty card.
