I have a Remington 700 barreled action only, in .300 Win Mag (this project is not going well)...what other parts do I need?
Remington is no help, they can't find the serial number in their computer and thus don't know what I have. I guess the big "Remington 700", serial number, and all the Rem. proofmarks on the barrel are there for decoration instead of identification
Brownells wanted to send schematics to me...
Anyway, what else do I need to put this in a HS Precision tactical/varmit stock (which is on order)?
Here are some pictures:
I would guess follower/spring/mag body for the long action in .300 WM, but which baseplate? Or the baseplate/trigger guard assembly?
