Rem 03-a3 value

I have a Rem 1903-a3 rifle, all matching in vg+ condition. The guy at the gunshop said it is only worth about $150.00 in trade. I kept it because I thought it was worth more then that. Was I wrong, or was he pulling a fast on me? Thanks.

$400-650. I would not patronize that shop ever again. Make a profit, but don't try to p*ss on me.

I'd say that you were about to be ripped off, $150 is a joke for a almost any 03-A3, and especially one in excellent condition!

I don't mind a guy making money but if it is a good piece he was shafting you!
I wouldn't go back either unless he is willing to sell you stuff at 1/3 price.
