Reloading for the Kel Tec PF-9

I reload 9mm for a Glock 19 - I run 125 LCN at 1150fps through it. I'm going to load up some fodder for a Kel Tec PF-9, both 124gr XTP and 125 LCN and I'm wondering if I should tone them down a bit. Will be using Longshot. What say ye?

I have a load of 3.8 grains of hp 38 with a 125 grain lean cone bullet. I use that in all my 9mm pistols that includes a cz75 a fnx9 sig 938 and a kel tec p11. I personally don't have any issues though I've tweaked my load to work in all of my guns. Sometimes you have to play with the oal to get it to work in a wide variety of handguns. Without trying a few of your reloads there's no real way to know.

No need to reduce your loads unless the little bugger is too lively for your taste. Mine is in my pocket with some Hornady 115's. I did make that concession to controllability.

Well I tried 5.5gr of LongShot behind the 124gr XTP for an average velocity of 1020fps from that 3" tube. Not bad shooting. No idea if the XTP will work at that velocity.

For loads that I've tested in both, the KelTec goes about 100 fps slower than my full size M&P. I don't think that is enough to significantly degrade the performance of your XTPs.
