Reloading components in Indiana?

Getting back into reloading and I'm wondering whether you guys know of any good shops to find components in northeast Indiana. I'll be in Fort Wayne, but also in Indianapolis.

Mostly looking for the slightly less popular stuff - brass, primers and lead bullets for .357s and .44s.

I've been out of the game for about 15 years and I know it's a whole different ballgame these days when it comes to supplies, ect. I haven't found a gunshop that carries many components.

Your help is much appreciated!

Its a forum for Indiana gun owners and ask the people from Ft. Wayne where the component stores are.

Im live in Indy so I can tell you that:

Indiana Gun club gets powder and primers
Profire on the SW side of Indy gets powder, bullets, brass.
Plainfield shooting supplies has some stuff too
Bradis guns has reloading supplies
Indiana bullet company casts lead in every size you could want
They are opening a Cabelas in Noblesville this fall too.

After you have 50 quality posts on INGO (or pay $20 to be a site supporter), you can use the classified section of the forum. Don't post crappy posts just to get to 50 though....the mods will take your post count right back to 0. They actually enjoy it lol. Just FYI.
 
Can't speak of course for Indiana but just hold on a bit and things seem to be loosening up all over. Out here in the far west for example, you couldn't find Trail Boss powder and other popular powders for over a year. Then recently at a gun show and two or three LGS's, you could get almost all you wanted. The fallguy for this situation was thought to be all the container ships sitting out in Los Angeles harbor for days at a time and unable to dock and unload. Then when they did unload, powder became available (coincidence or something else?). But the most popular blame-game is to blame the east for all the shortages out here in the west, maintaining that the big-box eastern gun stores receive more than the lions' share of components. Out here we tend to get envious when others speak of all the Cabellas stores out there somewhere. The primer shortage though seemed to come to an end several months back and now not much of a problem.

brass and lead bullets should be zero problem for 38/357. check out SNS casting on google for coated bullets at awesome prices. you can find once fired brass no probs, even here in the classifieds. I could part "some" to get you started for cheap. but the primers and powders will just take some footwork. you'll be surprised, not as hard as you might imagine if you are diligent. imr4227 isn't a really popular powder for some reason, but it's a goodie and usually easy to find. 38/357 takes a ton of different powders, you should be able to find some without too much trouble. good luck

There's a great supply shop just a few minutes north of Ft. Wayne on highway 33 in Churubusco named "Tomlinson's". They seem to always have a good supply of components especially powder and cast bullets. They do have a 2lb limit on the powder though.
 
Down by the Tracks in Galveston IN

Next time you head to Indianapolis go down 31. Take a short side trip in to Galveston IN. Just as you are coming into town from the east on the north side of the road, just before you get to the RR tracks there is a gun store called Down by the Tracks (or something like that) that sells reloading stuff too. They usually have a nice selection of powder along with all the other goodies.

Cool. What road are you coming in on? 35, 18, etc.?

I think it was 18 if you come in from the east and 35 if you are coming up from the south. I'd have to check a map to be sure. There is a hwy sign on the old 31 that points the way to Galveston but not on the new bypass.
