Reliable Ammo .22 short Colt Junior

Hello all,

I have a Colt Junior in .22 short version. It is pretty particular about which ammo it likes.

I can get pretty reliable results from CCI 1105 FPS Varmint rounds, CCI's 028 product.

Does anyone have other suggestions for a reliable round?

I have tried many other brands and have ended up with failure to eject and even a couple misfires.

I was also curios if anyone has found a reliable replacement magazine. Thought I would give that a try also.

Also, this has a 6 round mag. But when I load 6 rounds it always jams. But when I only load 5, it is pretty reliable. Any thoughts?

I have cleaned the gun spotless and it is properly lubricated.

Remington Golden Bullet and Aguila High Velocity work pretty well in my Beretta Minx. The higher velocity ammo seems to function better in the mouse guns.
