Regulating a rifle

I recent had a rifle made for me. Although it has a scope, It also has iron sights that need to be regulated. I want to try to regulate this myself, but am unsure as to how to proceed. I do not want to screw this up so I am looking for advice and references that will help me do this the right way.

Any ideas or feedback?
