I have a friend that is a retired Michigan State Trooper, and wants me to have his .25 cal. Baby Browning. It was one of his back-ups until the MSP went to the .38 stubby. He don't remember ever registering the firearm. He bought this Gun in 1965. My question is, what is the procedure to finding out who it is registered to, and registering the Gun to me? Is it possible that in 1965 you didn't have to register handguns or if you were a police officer you were not required to register. I live in Michigan, Southwest corner, Berrien County. Thank you for any replies, Bob
