In California, where I live, I have rattlesnakes...everywhere. Now, I know I can shoot 'em on my own land.
However.
If I go hiking (seriously, I mean hiking.), can I take along my 870, slung over my back, with a couple rounds of birdshot in my pocket or backpack or stock shell carrier for anti-rattler in the summer?
By the way, this is on a California Regional Park.
