Reflex Sight Question

I am looking to get a reflex sight for my Desert Eagle. I know they have scope mounts (like this one) available from Magnum Research. The reflex sight I am looking at is an Eotech, specifically this one . I'm not super familiar with scopes/sights and scope mounts and was curious if these were compatible with each other. Any advice would be helpful as to if this would work or a similar setup that would work.

Oh, and as an added note: I do not need Night Vision compatibility or any form of zoom.

Spiffy. Will that work on the mount setup for the desert eagle I linked? I've heard aimpoint are better in many aspects and eotech are better in many aspects. I'm not supe picky to brand at this point. I just want a reAlly nice reflex sight for my desert eagle and possibly one for my .44 mag. Just makes my life easier since odds are these will be my deer hunting guns in Indiana.
