L Lycanthrope New member Oct 8, 2006 #2 A gunsmith likely will not, but you can send the barrel out to be done. http://www.trippresearch.com/ is probably the best and most well known chrome plater. I expect the job to run under $100.

L Lycanthrope New member Oct 8, 2006 #4 No problem. Hard chrome mimics the surface under it. A bead blasted surface will come out matte when chromed.
