Refinishing slide lock/slide stop lever

Posted this in two places on Glock Talk and was met with a giant collective yawn. Maybe
you guys have some ideas.

The subject parts on my gun are stamped steel, I believe, and finished in a semi gloss black. They are subject to handling, and have worn down around the edges to the metal.

Would any of the wonder finishes that are often discussed here be a good choice to
refinish these pieces? I'm looking for original appearance (semigloss black) and durability.

Many thanks,

For such a small part it would hardly be worth it to send off and have it done. Try the Brownell's 'shake and bake' coating. I have heard good things about it and would be a good cheap choice for a small part.
