Refinishing/anodizing SIG P226 frame

Hey all. Just got a used P226 but I need to refinish/anodize the frame. While the vast majority of the finish on the frame looks good, it looks like the previous owner dropped the gun into pavement at one point. Yes, I know I could use touch-up bluing but I hate the way it looks -- so in that case, I don't mind spending for a complete re-finish.

I'm going to call Sigarms tomorrow to see how much they want for such a procedure (and to get a short trigger installed) but if anyone has other recommendations, please let me know!

Justin,

Did you ever find out how much it was to refinish the frame? I have a 226 with a frame in similar condition. Just went about 15 minutes on hold waiting for SIG customer service and gave up.

The majority of the responses pointed towards Mark Graham at Arizona Response Systems (http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com) for Metacol III finish. $65 for the frame will do the trick. I'm waiting for a short trigger from SIG and then I'm going to send it off to ARS for the "treatment".
