I spent the weekend with family I hadn't seen in more than 20 years. One of my uncles told me he had something for me. He handed me my father's old Shotgun. He had kept it all these years since my father died when I was 9. It had some rust and scrapes on the stock so I decided to refinish it. I did an easy cold blue on it, which isn't the greatest, but looks much better than it was. I plan on sending for a hot blue refinish soon. The restain on the stock came out great. I plan on handing this to my son, if I have one one day. I always wanted something to pass through the family.
