It's about time that I was in the right place at the right time! This past Sunday, a friend and I were out for breakfast. It was crowded and we grabbed the only table available. People were just leaving a table made for eight. There were only two of us so the rest of the table was empty. Who walks in and shares our table with us but the one and only Red Ryder. We couldn't have arranged it if we tried. My friend that I was with got him to sign the grip on his Ruger Blackhawk. As far as I am concerned, that's about as big of a gun celebrity I'll probably ever meet in my life. he is a very nice person too.

William "Wild Bill" Elliot, the Red Ryder who was one of my boyhood heroes would have to be at least 90. Was it he? Or was it the one who invented the BB gun?

You have to be there when it's all over. Otherwise you can't say "I told you so."

Better days to be,

Ed

The one that played the part on the silver screen. His real name is Dave Saunders.
