The Optima 2000 is a fantastic sight! With a huge caveat:
The early Optima 2000s may still be delivered by some distribuors. You know you've got one when you find three adjustment screws and a handbook explaining a very complex mehtod of adjusting the sight. This sight will fail very soon in it's life and a call to Tasco will ask you to send the sight back to them for replacement. (Send it USPS, it's cheaper)
The new sight will be a joy to behold. Easy to adjust, dead on accuracy and extremely reliable. My 2000 has over 3000 rounds on my Kimber Classic Custom and has never gone out of adjustment. And this is a sight that weighs less than an ounce!
This sight comes in 3.5 MOA and 7 MOA...I wish I had gotten the 3.5 MOA as the 7MOA, while great for combat, is a bit large for target.
I read that there is a third generation out now...It can't get any better!
