I have been playing with the idea of buying myself a red dot scope for my AR-15 rifle for some time now after I had the oppurtunity to try an Aimpoint Comp M3 system this past fall that belongs to a friend of mine, and the wife suprised me by purchasing a BSA RD30SB for me the other night (she will occasionally do things like this 
). I haven't had a chance to try out my new toy yet as the weather up here in CNY is still pretty miserable, but I plan on doing it real soon. My question is, does BSA or any other company make a low priced magnifier device like the Aimpoint 3x magnifier? The Aimpoint system my friend has consisted of both the Comp M3 and 3x magnifier and I tried it with and without the magnifier and liked what I saw. Only problem is, I don't have the $499.99 to buy the Aimpoint Magnifier.
