Looking for a qualified machinist that can mill the Sig P226 slide for a leupold delta point pro.

The one fellow I called had a 3 month wait.

Hoping for sooner then that?

Live in the NY/LI area.

TIA

More information, I don't care where the machinist is, as long as they are recommended and will not take 3 months.

TIA

Call Randy Hollowbush at Handgunner Custom Shop in Topton, Pa. He has a web site and he's an extremely talented gunsmith and a great shooter.

Check out hp-tactical.com. No idea of back log but they can do it. Guy at the range has a beautiful Kimber with a Docter milled into slide done by them.

BTW, called sig, the new romeo 1 will not be shipping until summer. Some dealers may have some before that.
They will not recommend a shop to modify the gun.
They may have a slide with the romeo 1 at the end of the year.

TIA

Make sure whomever you choose they understand the proper angle the sight should be mounted at, if they don't you'll be wasting a lot of time hunting for the red dot.

Best Regards

I would assume level. Don't know just how much you can adjust the sights if you tilt the back a few degrees.
